PNB customers should complete this work by April 10, otherwise the account will be frozen

This update is important for all Punjab National Bank (PNB) account holders. As per the directives of the Reserve Bank of India, PNB has issued a last call for all customers to amend their Know Your Customer (KYC) data by April 10, 2025. Failure to comply would entail a temporary freeze of the customer’s account, disallowing him to make any transactions.

Why is KYC Update mandatory?

As KYC verification is a fundamental measure against fraud, money laundering, and financial crimes, the Reserve Bank of India has made it a mandate. If your KYC is still pending with the Bank and with changes beyond March 31, 2025, it would be in your best interest to take immediate action to minimize disruption in the smooth functioning of your banking services.
