FD Interest Rates Up to 8.05%: Don’t Miss These 4 Bank Special FDs Before June 30, 2025

With the kind of financial uncertainty that prevails, searching for safe yet good investments can be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Yet for many a Conservative, Fixed Deposits (FDs) remain one of the most respected investment havens, particularly those which are being currently marketed by some banks as special FD schemes offering as much as 8.05 per cent.

Most banks have brought down their FD rates because the RBI has slashed the repo rate for the same number of times in the year 2025. Unlike these banks, however, there are still four banks that offer such limited-period special FD schemes for final locking for depositors till June 30, 2025.

Indian Bank – IND Supreme & Super FDs (Up to 8.05%):

Indian Bank continues with the ever-popular IND Supreme (300 days) and IND Super (400 days) FDs. These tenures are considered special as they are more beneficial to the super senior citizen with the highest returns, touching 8.05%, which is one of the highest in the market.

  • Validity for the scheme is extended till 30 June 2025.
  • All rates are the same, hence perfect to invest now before further changes.

Punjab & Sind Bank – Special FD Offers

Though Punjab & Sind Bank has revised some of its interest rates, it still offers multiple tenure options under its special FD schemes.

The bank has discontinued the high-interest 333-day (7.72%) and 555-day (7.45%) tenures. However, the following options remain:

State Bank of India, the largest public sector bank in India, has brought back its Amrit Vrishti Special FD, though the interest rate is a tad lower than what it was before.

    • Senior citizen: 7.55%

    This offer is valid from April 15, 2025, and even though the bank has not indicated confinement, it is advisable to invest early before the rates go down.
