Amrit Vrishti FD for Senior Citizens: SBI has changed the interest rates of not only Amrit Vrishti but also its other normal A1FD schemes. These new rates will be applicable on all FD periods from 7 days to 10 years.

The new interest rates for common citizens are as follows:

  • Interest on FDs of less than 1 year but not more than 2 years has now been reduced from 6.80% to 6.70%.
  • FDs of 2 years to less than 3 years will now get 6.90% interest instead of 7.00%.

New interest rates for senior citizens:

  • Interest on FDs of less than 1 year but up to 2 years has been reduced from 7.30% to 7.20%.
  • Interest on FDs of less than 2 years but up to 3 years has been reduced from 7.50% to 7.40%.
